Back on The ‘Dame’ today saw the new shelves fitted on the right of the container and batton led lights in place of the old tube.
Smoke box emptied of all crud and a start made on the smokebox saddle bolts.
Back head is now clear of all cladding as is the boiler barrel the back head still needs needle gunnning.
The Boilersmiths also had a chat about the boiler more of that later.
